Aurora Gaming won twice to improve to 4-0 Wednesday in Group Stage 1 at DreamLeague Season 28.
With a pair of 2-0 victories, Aurora sits alone atop Group A and is the lone unbeaten team in the event.
MOUZ and Tundra Esports also won twice and are tied atop Group B at 2-2.
The $1 million Dota 2 event features 16 teams, starting in a round-robin stage split into two groups of eight teams. All series consist of two games, and the top four teams from each group advance to Group Stage 2, a single round robin featuring best-of-three matches.
From there, four teams will compete in a double-elimination playoff bracket Feb. 28-March 1 with best-of-three matches until the grand final, which will be best-of-five.
The championship team will receive $250,000 in prize money and a $40,000 club reward. The runner-up side will get $100,000 and a $30,000 club reward.
In Group A, Aurora got past Yakult Brothers in 47 minutes and 26 minutes, both on green. Egor 'Nightfall' Grigorenko of Russia recorded a 24/3/12 kill-death-assist ratio for Aurora.
Aurora then downed Team Liquid in 36 minutes and 31 minutes, again both on green. Nightfall again led the way, finishing at 11/1/14.
MOUZ prevailed over Team Falcons with 41-minute and 27-minute wins on green. Remco 'Crystallis' Arets of the Netherlands played a key role for the victors with a 8/8/14 K/D/A ratio.
Then against Execration, MOUZ won in 25 minutes and 41 minutes, both on green, with Yeik 'MidOne' Nai Zheng of Malaysia leading the way with a K/D/A of 9/0/11.
Tundra took down Gamer Legion in 35 minutes on red and 31 minutes on green as Bozhidar 'bzm' Bogdanov of Bulgaria posted a K/D/A of 11/1/18.
Facing Team Spirit, Tundra posted the victory with a 57-minute triumph and a 41-minute win, both on green. Neta '33' Shapira of Israel delivered a 8/10/15 K/D/A for the winners.
In the day's other Group A matches, PARAVISION beat OG 2-0 and tied Team Liquid 1-1, paIN Gaming tied OG 1-1 and lost 2-0 to BetBoom Team, which also blanked Yandex 2-0. Yandex tied Yakult Brothers 1-1.
Elsewhere in Group B, Team Spirit tied Natus Vincere 1-1, Team Falcons and Gamer Legion tied 1-1, Xtreme Gaming shut down Execration 2-0 but was also blanked 2-0 by Natus Vincere.
Group Stage 1 continues through Friday.
