Established in 1987 and located in Mohe, the Luogu River hydrological station is China's northernmost hydrological station.
The Ergun River from China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Shilka River from Russia merge here into the Heilongjiang River, the boundary river between China and Russia. The staff members here brave the coldness to collect hydrological data, ensuring the water safety of the river. (Xinhua/Zhang Tao)
