A new clip shows the town's infrastructure severely damaged by months of intense fighting between Moscow's and Kiev's forces
The Russian Defense Ministry has released footage from the liberated town of Sudzha in Kursk Region, which had been under Ukrainian control since Kiev's incursion started in August 2024.
The clip shows the devastated community, where swaths of the town's infrastructure, including schools, shops and residential buildings have been reduced to rubble.

According to the Defense Ministry, Russian troops dislodged the remaining Ukrainian soldiers from Sudzha on Thursday, following intensified military operations in the area. A special unit even advanced through a disused gas pipeline to surprise Kiev's forces.
Home to some 5,000 people before the incursion, Sudzha was the biggest town held by the Ukrainians in Kursk Region since last August.
