• Russian air strikes overnight in eastern Ukrainekilled at least 20 peoplein the Donetsk region, according to local officials, with at least 11 deaths reported in the city of Dobropillya.
• Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on March 7 thatRussia fired almost 70 cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as launching nearly 200 drones, at various energy facilities in Ukraine in an attack that also hit residential buildings.
